Alocasia reginula
Black Velvet Alocasia, Little Queen
A miniature jewel alocasia from Borneo's limestone cliffs, with near-black velvety leaves traced by silver-white veins. Its compact size and need for high humidity make it one of the better alocasias for closed terrariums. In the wild it grows in deeply shaded understory habitats, so it does best in medium indirect light. Too much intensity can scorch the dark leaves.

Care
Prefers high humidity, indirect light, with 16–27 °C, and reaches 60 cm at maturity.
